Data deletion request

How to delete your Lookback account

You can request the deletion of your account and associated data in the following ways:

Option 1: From the App

  1. Open the Lookback app
  2. Go to your Profile (user icon)
  3. Tap on Settings (gear icon)
  4. Scroll to "Delete account"
  5. Confirm deletion

Option 2: By Email

Send an email to support@lookback.finance with:

  • Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Your wallet address connected to Lookback
  • Confirmation that you want to delete your account

We will process your request within a maximum of 30 days.

What data is deleted?

When you delete your account, the following will be permanently deleted:

  • ✅ Your profile and user settings
  • ✅ All your posts and comments
  • ✅ Your messages and private chats
  • ✅ Your desk memberships
  • ✅ Your saved preferences and indicators
  • ✅ Your voting history on proposals

What data CANNOT be deleted?

⚠️ Public blockchain data:

The following data is public on Hyperliquid and cannot be deleted by Lookback or anyone:

  • ❌ Your trade history on Hyperliquid (public on blockchain)
  • ❌ Your wallet address (public information)
  • ❌ Transactions with builder fee executed from the app

This data exists on the Hyperliquid blockchain independently of Lookback. Anyone can query it using your wallet address.

Strategy data and trading algorithm

Lookback collects anonymized trading strategy data to train a trading algorithm that will benefit app users in the future.

  • This data is anonymous and not linked to your identity after account deletion
  • It is not sold or shared with third parties
  • It is used exclusively to improve the trading experience on Lookback

If you want your strategy data to also be removed from the training dataset, please expressly indicate this in your deletion request.

Processing time

  • From the app: Immediate
  • By email: Up to 30 days

You will receive a confirmation when your account has been deleted.
